Gensets/CHP Systems



We provide Genset and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems for onsite renewable electricity and heat generation. Our systems can be provided as stand-alone units, or as part of wastewater treatment.
We provide:
  • Turn-key biogas or dual fuel (biogas/natural gas) systems
  • Waste heat capture systems for use in manufacturing
  • Integration of Genset/CHP unit with Facility electric switch gear to reduce peak demand
  • Automatic switch gear and protective relays for Grid connection and electricity export
  • Electrical interconnection submittals and permitting support

Biogas Storage & Handling



Biogas generated from anaerobic wastewater treatment can be used as a source of renewable electricity or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). This can improve the financial benefits and reduce the Return On Investment (ROI) period for wastewater treatment projects.
Our biogas utilization services & technologies include:
  • Storage and buffering
  • Drying, dehumidification and purification
  • Compression and conveyance to nearby Natural Gas pipeline
  • Open or enclosed emergency flares
  • Regulatory permitting and submittals

Reduction of Waste Generation



In addition to our expertise in “end-of-pipe” treatment and control measures, EMG maintains a proactive philosophy with regard to reducing the costs and regulatory liability of wastes at the source.
